Richard Simon, who has practiced law for over 30 years is a Shareholder, Co-Chair of the Firm’s Banking and Financial Services Practice Group, and Partner in Charge of the Firm’s New York Office. Richard has extensive experience in, all aspects of commercial lending, including commercial and industrial, asset-based lending, factoring, trade, purchase order, supply chain and other alternative financing complex commercial litigation, and commercial transactions. Throughout his career he has acted as outside general counsel, advising clients on a myriad of issues confronting midsize to large businesses on a daily basis, including business structure, planning, finance, corporate governance, cybersecurity and privacy issues.

Stuart J. Wells has more than 20 years of experience litigating complex matters for clients in federal and state courts throughout the United States. A tenacious litigator and zealous advocate, Stuart has conducted hundreds of depositions, conducted trials and evidentiary hearings, argued appeals and motions in lower courts and successfully obtained settlements for clients in a wide array of matters. Initially an insurance coverage attorney for a large New Jersey based firm, Stuart’s practice has expanded over the years to include representing corporations, individuals and financial institutions in connection with the prosecution and defense of UCC disputes, loan workouts, collateral foreclosures, breaches of contract, fraud and other business torts. He also has extensive experience representing secured lenders and other creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.

Dabek, Jr. is an Associate in the Firm’s Banking and Financial Services and Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Groups where he represents commercial lenders, factors, finance companies, debt funds and private equity funds in the structuring and negotiation of secured and unsecured lending transactions, including syndicated and single-bank loans, factoring, financing of commercial assets, asset based lending, acquisition financing, and loan restructurings and workouts.
